We all have our stories to tell - a memorable moment, a particular interest, a passion for a topic.  Now you can share your expertise with your fellow AlternaMoms.  It can be as small as a paragraph or an entire essay, an anecdotal story or a veritable research paper.

There are only a few guidelines to follow: all data should be documented (with end notes or a bibliography) the topic should be relevant to AlternaMoms using the spell-checker is a good thing (and something I need to remember myself!) please let us know in advance that you are writing an article

We are especially interested in success stories that show the power an AlternaMom carries inside her - convincing a spouse about homebirth, what helped you have a successful VBAC, breastfeeding challenges you were able to conquer, We do, however, reserve the right not to publish an article if we feel it's not appropriate or not quite ready.  Send your article idea to article@alternamoms.com   And of course, we are always looking for new birth stories and birth plans!
